If the company is operating in an open market then there is no point of the right to choose who they market and sell their merchandise to. If they do that, that is an act of discrimination which is not acceptable in the world economy which is free in nature. Having said this, we also cannot ignore the numerous incidents of discrimination as well indifference in the fashion retail industry. The issue here is the same as the marketing of beauty products, stressing on the fairness and white colour of the skin, which is definitely discriminatory and derogatory.
